Data protection

Quantova handles personal data carefully and in line with established data protection principles, including the standards set by the General Data Protection Regulation. This statement explains what that means in practice. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy.

Our principles

  • Lawfulness and transparency. Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly and in a way people can understand.
  • Purpose limitation. Data is collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and is not used in ways incompatible with them.
  • Data minimisation. We collect only what is necessary to operate the website and respond to enquiries.
  • Accuracy and storage limitation. Data is kept accurate and retained no longer than needed.
  • Integrity and confidentiality. Data is protected with appropriate technical and organisational measures.
  • We do not sell personal data. Personal data is never sold or traded.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

On chain data

The Quantova network is a public blockchain. Information written to the chain, such as addresses and transactions, is public and, by the nature of a distributed ledger, cannot be altered or deleted. Do not place personal data on chain. This statement concerns the personal data we process through this website, not public ledger data.

International transfers and contact

Some service providers operate outside your jurisdiction. Where data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to keep it subject to a comparable standard of protection. For any data protection request, contact us through the community channels.
