Network transparency ledger

Validator authority changes

A public record of every change to validator authority keys on the Quantova network. Each entry records the validator, the authority affected, the prior key, the replacement key and the time the change took effect, so institutions and auditors can verify control over staked positions without privileged access.

Authority keys are post quantum and bound to execution domains within the Quantova Virtual Machine. Every reassignment is signed, verified before execution and committed to state under SHA3 256, which makes this ledger an authoritative account of who holds signing and withdrawal rights over each validator.

01 What this ledger records

Authority reassignment under protocol enforcement

Validators hold an authorised voter key and an authorised withdrawer key. Either can be reassigned, and every reassignment is verified by the protocol and written to this record.

001

Signed reassignment

A change of authority is itself a state changing action that carries a post quantum signature from the current key holder, verified before any update is applied.

002

Committed to state

The prior and replacement keys are committed to state under SHA3 256, so the full history of control over a validator is reconstructable and tamper evident.

003

Independently verifiable

Because verification is a protocol execution rule, oversight bodies replay and confirm every authority change from public data without access to internal node state.

Recorded authority changes

Each row records one authority reassignment. Keys are shown in full so the prior and replacement values are open to inspection.

03 Reading the record

How to interpret each entry

  • The validator and vote account identify the staked position whose control was reassigned.
  • The authority field states which right changed. The authorised voter signs consensus duties, while the authorised withdrawer controls movement of staked value.
  • Before and after hold the prior key and its replacement, both shown in full for direct comparison.
  • The timestamp records when the change reached deterministic finality, after which it is fixed in the network record.
04 Summary

A verifiable account of validator control

Every authority change is signed with a post quantum key, verified before execution and committed to state under SHA3 256. Control over staked positions is recorded openly and confirmed by deterministic finality, giving institutions and oversight bodies a record they verify independently.
