Licenses
Quantova is developed and maintained by QUANTO ORGANISATION PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore.
Software Licensing
The Quantova protocol, including its core node software, consensus logic, runtime, Quantova Virtual Machine (QVM), and related protocol components, is licensed under the Business Source License, version 1.1 (BUSL 1.1).
The BUSL license permits running nodes, validators, and infrastructure on the canonical Quantova network, while restricting the use of the software to launch or operate competing blockchain networks.
Full license terms and clarifications are published in the Quantova public GitHub repository.
Validators and Node Operators
Running a validator or full node on the Quantova network is permitted and does not constitute restricted use under BUSL 1.1.
A dedicated validator licensing clarification is available for operators, exchanges, and infrastructure providers.
Canonical Network Identity
The Quantova network is uniquely identified by its signed source releases, post quantum genesis hash, and signed runtime artifacts.
Networks launched from a different genesis are not affiliated with Quantova.
Third Party Software
Quantova may incorporate third party open source software. Such components remain subject to their original licenses, which are disclosed in the public repository.
Trademarks
Quantova, QRC20, QVM, and PQR are trademarks and technology identifiers of QUANTO ORGANISATION PTE. LTD.
The Quantova mainnet genesis block includes an immutable cryptographic commitment to the Quantova™ protocol identity and BUSL 1.1 licensing declaration.
